Connect & Support Participation Network Workshop

Proudly supported by VicHealth, this Network has been designed to bring together participation and inclusion staff at State Sporting Associations (SSAs), Local Government Authorities (LGAs), Regional Sport Assemblies (RSAs) and other peak bodies.

This session will support attendees to unpack some of the current challenges and identify potential solutions sports are facing with the implementation of Diversity, Equity and Inclusions practices/programs in sport.

Guest presenter: Dr. Erica Randle, Senior Research Fellow at Centre for Sport and Social Impact, La Trobe University

Focused in industry, policy and practice, Erica leads research and evaluation projects based on: using sport and play for social, mental and physical outcomes, gender equity in sport, the social value of sport, designing sport, play and recreation experiences as well as the implementation of programs. She advises and runs workshops on evaluation, grant writing and using sport for good.
