Positions available: 2 - 3 Directors to nominate for 2025 AGM Board elections
Details on the position:
The purpose of ACHPER Victoria is enable all people to lead active and healthy lives. ACHPER Victoria services are multi-faceted and include the provision of high quality and relevant professional learning resources, along with evidence-based consulting services to a range of government, education-focussed and sport industry organisations.
ACHPER Victoria is ever evolving, and our strategic direction is to retain our foundational character and strengths whilst growing and broadening our reach and relevance.
In 2024, ACHPER Victoria resigned from ACHPER Incorporated (and it’s federated structure) in order to lead the creation of a national association with the strengths and capabilities to provide consistent and end-user focused services and resources nationwide.
In preparation for Board elections at its 2025 AGM, ACHPER Victoria seeks nominations from 2 - 3 potential candidates. All nominations will be reviewed by through a Nominations Committee process with the goal of submitting successful candidates to Board elections at the May 2025 AGM.
A Director skill review has identified the following range of key capabilities as a priority: Board experience in National or State NFP / Association, SSA / NSO contexts; NFP / Association expansion, Change management experience; Board Chair experience; Financial management knowledge and experience and grant writing.
