2024 Victorian Sport Awards
The Victorian Sport Awards (VSAs) is the night of nights for the Victorian sporting community, an event that recognises and celebrates the achievements of our home-grown sporting heroes and legends.
Each year, the VSAs honours those who have made an exceptional contribution to sport in Victoria as individual or team athletes, coaches, officials, administrators, volunteers, media and clubs as well as initiatives that have kept people active, from both metropolitan and regional areas in Victoria.
18 awards will be open for nominations between 15 January - 14 February 2025 with the entire Victorian sporting industry and general public able to nominate. The full list of awards can be found below.
Independent expert Judging Panels will then select four (4) finalists, including one (1) award winner, for each category. Those finalists will be announced in late March before the winners are revealed on the night of the Victorian Sport Awards, Wednesday 14 May 2025.

Alongside the 18 awards above, the most prestigious honour bestowed at the VSAs is the Outstanding Contribution to Victorian Sport Award. This is presented to an individual or organisation in recognition of outstanding achievement in, or contribution to, sport in Victoria.
Based on their significant role in the Victorian sport and active recreation sector, the winner of the Outstanding Contribution to Victorian Sport Award will be decided by a panel of expert industry representatives, separate to the judging panels for the other 18 awards.
Previous winners of this award include Dr Peter Brukner OAM, Neale Daniher AO and Peggy O'Neal AO.
