Child Safe Sport Community of Practice #5
This event is open to key child safe contacts within Victorian SSAs, RSAs and SSRBs.
Vicsport is pleased to offer the next Child Safe Sport Community of Practice. This opportunity is available to 1-2 key contacts from all Victorian State Sport Associations, Regional Sport Assemblies and State Sport & Recreation Bodies.
Join us online as we discuss the incoming changes to the Victorian Child Safe Standards. Utilising breakout rooms, activities and discussion will address the four new requirements:
- to involve families and communities in organisations’ efforts to keep children and young people safe
- for a greater focus on safety for Aboriginal children and young people
- to manage the risk of child abuse in online environments
- to address governance, systems and processes to keep children and young people safe.
Contribute your insights and work with fellow child safe sport leads as we workshop and share ideas to address these topics with each other and identify potential solutions.

Time: 10am – 12noon
