Legends of Victorian Sport Panel at 2020 Victorian Sport Awards

The Legends of Victorian Sport Panel, presented by Gallagher’s and featuring Catherine Freeman OAM, Steve Moneghetti AM, David Parkin OAM and Nicole Livingstone OAM will headline the 2020 Victorian Sport Awards on Thursday 3 June at Marvel Stadium.

Consisting of Victorian sporting greats, the Legends of Victorian Sport Panel will be interviewed together on stage by MC Tiffany Cherry to discuss their sporting achievements, how they fared during the heights of the COVID-19 pandemic as well as their thoughts on the state’s return to sport.

Fittingly, all four panel members are previous winners of the Outstanding Contribution to Victorian Sport Award with Moneghetti, Freeman, Parkin and Livingstone receiving the honour in 2001, 2007, 2012 and 2015 respectively.

Acknowledging their lifetime contribution to Victorian sport, the award is the most prestigious honour bestowed on the night and the panel discussion will lead into the presentation of this year’s Award.

With an encyclopedia’s worth of sports wisdom on the panel, this conversation is not to be missed. Tickets are now on sale for the 2020 Victorian Sport Awards and can be purchased via the Vicsport website, email or on (03) 9698 8100.
