Hockey Victoria's Annual Women & Girls Breakfast

Hockey Victoria's Women and Girl’s Annual Breakfast!

As part of the 2017 Women’s round, Hockey Victoria is hosting our 6th annual Women and Girl’s Breakfast. The theme for this year is “Living the Dream”.

Hockey Victoria is pleased to announce a star-studded lineup of panellists from a variety of sports, who will share stories of overcoming barriers, resilience, strong work ethic and juggling a professional sports career with social life and work. We will hear from Rachael Lynch, Victorian hockey’s very own Hockeyroo goalkeeper and exceptional role model for all on and off the field. We will gain insights into being part of the inaugural professional Women’s AFL from two marquee players; Ellie Blackburn from Western Bulldogs and Moana Hope from Collingwood. Last but definitely not least, Melbourne Vixen’s player Tegan Philip, will speak on the privilege of living the dream of playing at the highest level in her chosen sport.

Our emcee for the morning will be the lovely and extremely talented Ros Lanigan- AFLW reporter and Women’s footy TV host. Ros will also share some insight into her achievements and the obstacles she has faced as a female in the sports industry.

During the breakfast there will be an opportunity for attendees to ask the panellists some questions.
