What is the aim of the event?
Vicsport’s first Local Government Authority forum for 2018 is all about locally-led delivery as a vehicle for creating relevant opportunities for people to be more active. This event will cover the following areas: This event will cover the following areas:
This forum will explore successful locally-led delivery approaches and provide an opportunity for attendees to identify how and when to use locally-led delivery to increase sport and recreation participation in their local area.
The event will include workshop activities, and include guest talks by:
Silvana coordinates the Strengthening Seniors Inclusion Participation in Local Communities (SSIP) program which aims to create local networks in support of older adults experiencing loneliness or isolation.
Richelle Olsen created Escape Your Comfort Zone with funding through the VicHealth Innovation Challenge. Escape Your Comfort Zone is a hiking community connecting plus size women to create amazing adventures together.
This event is only open to LGA staff. To register for this event, click on the link below.
This event is free for LGA
members. If your LGA is not a Vicsport organisation member the ticket price
will be $100. A tax invoice will be provided to you via email for the event. If
your LGA becomes a Vicsport member prior to the event,
