SSP / RSP Physical Activity - Celebration & Reflection Workshop
Join us for the SSP/RSP Physical Activity Workshops - Celebration & Reflection on Friday 18 May 2018!
The State Sport Program and Regional Sport Program concludes in June this year. Over the past 3 years, 21 State Sporting Associations and 9 Regional Sports Assemblies have delivered a wide range of programs aiming to increase participation in sport and recreation.
This is the final group workshop in the SSP/RSP program and will combine new learnings, reflections on the program and a fun celebration activity:
Part 1 – What Makes Great Deliverers Tick?
You will hear from 3 diverse deliverers who specialise in coaching less active people to develop healthier exercise habits. These lessons will be valuable in helping sport organisations to expand their network of potential coaches and instructors – especially for programs that target people new to sport.
You will hear from the following great instructors who specialise in providing a first class experience to their participants:
Following their presentations you will have the chance to ask each instructor some questions.
Part 2 – SSP/RSP Program Reflections
Across this 3-year program there have been many learnings for participating organisations. It is important that we reflect on the positive and impactful stories of change and identify how these learnings can help us to deliver great outcomes beyond and outside of the SSP/RSP program. This session will include some fun activities to leverage our collective stories of change and understand how we can integrate useful learnings into future programs.
Part 3 – Lunch and Trivia
Stay for lunch and help celebrate the SSP/RSP program with a fun team-based trivia game. Test your knowledge and enjoy some laughs as we wrap up the SSP/RSP program for 2018!
Please note: This event is only for VicHealth funded SSAs and RSAs in the State Sport and Regional Sport Program.
