LEAD Masterclass - Mentoring vs Coaching

Following the inaugural LEAP & LEAD program launched in 2016/17, the LEAD Masterclasses are designed as stand alone events which will continue developing the leadership skills of female sport administrators.

Why should I attend?

Each LEAD Masterclass session is designed to address a key skill which will develop your leadership abilities as a sport administrator. At the LEAD Masterclass on 28 March 2018, the session will focus on:

  • The distinction between mentoring and coaching
  • Encouraging the development of your mentoring and coaching skills
  • The art of questioning - how to use it, why is it important?
  • Building your network and rapport with other female sport administrators

Who can attend the LEAD Masterclass?

The LEAD Masterclasses are open to all female sport administrators. These sessions are designed to build your capacity as a sports administrator, and broaden your network with other like-minded women.

How will the day run?

At this masterclass, we will hear from experienced businesswomen Alison Crabb and psychotherapist Lyndall Russell followed by a networking breakfast. Tea, coffee and breakfast canapes will be provided.

Schedule:
7.30am - 8.30am = Mentoring vs Coaching session
