Finance 101: Basic Financial Literacy

Are you a Sports Administrator? Would you like to learn more about the basic financial functions of your organisation? If you answered yes, join us on Wednesday 13 December 2017 for our VPN Finance 101 event!

What is this aim of this event?

At the Finance 101: Basic Financial Literacy VPN event, Vicsport and Sports Accounting Australia will provide a practical education on basic financial functions for Sport Administrators. Some of the key take-outs you can expect from attending this event includes:

• Learning how to read a P&L and balance sheet
• Understanding some key tips on managing a budget (i.e. keeping track of expenditure)
• Plus the provision of a glossary of key financial terms for you to take home

Who can attend this event?

This VPN event is free for VPN members, or is otherwise $49 for non-VPN members or $20 for students.

The premise of this event is that all Sport Administrators within an organisation, in whatever that capacity may be, should have a basic understanding of financial literacy. If you have a role within a sporting organisation, and would like to build your capability in understanding its fundamental financial processes, then we recommend you attend!
