The focus of this session will be on creating and supporting a free-thinking culture as well as being able to sell innovation inside and outside of your organisation. You will learn the benefits for you and your organisation in taking a more innovative approach. Using this, you will then explore the opportunities and threats and what that might look like in practice as well as exploring organisational culture.

An additional component to this session will be an introduction into the VicHealth Sport Innovation Challenge where sporting bodies can pitch to gain access to a $500,000 funding pool to get more Victorians off the couch and playing more sport more often, with a focus on those with low physical activity levels.

At the conclusion of this event you will have a stronger understanding of the value of innovation and how to apply this approach within your organisation with behaviours that can be put in place from as soon as get back to the office!
