Child Safe Sport Community of Practice

Join us at this in-person Community of Practice as we continue to support sports with the Victorian Child Safe Standards

Session Overview

Vicsport is pleased to offer our next Child Safe Sport Community of Practice.

This opportunity is available to all staff from Victorian State Sport Associations (SSA's), Regional Sport Assemblies (RSA's) and State Sport & Recreation Bodies (SSRB's).

Supported by the Victorian State Government, this session will see National Manager - Play By The Rules, Tom Dixon share evidence and insights into their recent campaign 'Start to Talk', and provide practical strategies into how to start the conversations with your clubs and parents.

At this session you will:

  • Gain insights into PBTRs Start to Talk campaign;
  • Engage in an interactive workshop around engaging and empowering parents
  • Learn practical tools and tips on how to start the conversations with your clubs and parents.
