Child Safe Leaders Training

With changes made to the Victorian Child Safe Standards legislation on 1 July 2022, it is vital that all leaders in sport understand their roles and responsibilities.

Workshop Details

Vicsport’s all-new Child Safe Leaders Training, is a 90 minute workshop designed for board members, CEOs and senior (executive) staff that will provide an overview of:

• The Victorian Child Safe Standards
• Your role as sporting leaders
• Legal requirements
• Identifying and reporting child abuse
• Risk factors for sporting organisations
• Practical advice to create a child safe culture

This opportunity is FREE and limited to select sports.

It is strongly recommended that multiple people from the same organisation attend in order to ensure your organisation is capable in complying with the Victorian Child Safe Standards.

Time: 6.30pm – 9.00pm

• 6.30pm: Arrival, networking & light dinner
• 7.00pm - 8.30pm: Workshop
