2020 Victorian Sport Awards rescheduled online for 6 October


Vicsport and the State Government of Victoria are pleased to announce the 2020 Victorian Sport Awards have been rescheduled for Wednesday, 6 October.

Originally planned to be held at Marvel Stadium, lockdown restrictions mean the 2020 Victorian Sport Awards will now be held fully online.

Registration for the most prestigious night on the Victorian sporting calendar is free, allowing the entire sport and recreation industry to celebrate the efforts of individuals, organisations, clubs and LGAs during the 2020 calendar year.


The most prestigious night on the Victorian sporting calendar, the Victorian Sport Awards will celebrate the efforts of individuals, organisations, clubs and Local Government Authorities throughout the sport and recreation industry during the 2020 calendar year.

Finalists for the 7 awards to be presented were previously announced while Malcolm Speed AO will be bestowed the most esteemed honour of the night as this year's recipient of the Outstanding Contribution to Victorian Sport Award.

The night will also feature the Legends of Victorian Sport Panel, presented by Gallagher’s and featuring Catherine Freeman OAM, Nicole Livingstone OAM, Steve Moneghetti AM, Judy Dalton AM and David Parkin OAM, interviewed by MC Tiffany Cherry.

Registrations are open until midday Tuesday 5 October 2021.
