Vicsport is the peak body for the sport and active recreation industry in Victoria. It plays a central role supporting industry-wide, organisation and people development through a range of events, activities and innovative professional development programs.
Reporting to the General Manager, the Administration Coordinator will be the first point of contact for all industry stakeholders and member related enquiries and will provide administration support across the organisation with a focus on office management, events and assisting the CEO, General Manager and Board.
Vicsport hosts 60-80 events per year, catering to various industry groups from students to executives as well as suppliers and stakeholders. This role will play a key function in event logistics to include venue and catering arrangements, bump in/out and pre/post event administration requirements.
To be considered for this role you will be experienced in office and event administration either from within the sport sector or in a busy corporate environment. You must be comfortable conversing with a various range of stakeholders whilst providing outstanding service to all. A tenacious attention to detail is essential, along with the ability to problem-solve and prioritise multiple and varied tasks simultaneously to meet deadlines in a fast paced environment.
This diverse role is the central hub for all Vicsport activities and will suit a proficient administrator who is highly organised with initiative, enthusiasm and the ability to write both inward and outward professional correspondence and reports for various mediums and audiences. Tertiary qualifications in Business or Sport Administration would be an advantage, but not essential.

Due to the significance of this position and the level of remuneration on offer, this position will be offered on a part-time basis (minimum 25-30 hours per week). The hours worked can be flexible within business hours noting that, due to the nature of the position, some weekend work and extended hours may occasionally be required. There may be an opportunity of full time employment for a less experienced candidate who meets the minimum requirements of the role at the stated remuneration above.
