School Sport Victoria (SSV) is the peak body for School Sport in Victoria. SSV is a sub-committee of the Department of Education and Training with over 2,400 government, catholic and independent, primary and secondary schools affiliated with SSV.
SSV’s Mission Statement is, ‘To be the State and National leader in providing quality sporting opportunities in the school environment for all school age children in Victoria’.
SSV manages:
- Coordination of inter school sport from district through to state championships throughout Victoria.
- Coordination of 41 state teams across 19 sports under the banner of Team Vic who compete in national championships run by School Sport Australia.
Every one of the athletes, coaches, and sports coordinators who represent Victoria, do so in BLK Sporting Apparel.
A proud partner of Vicsport, BLK have worked closely with SSV over the past 4 years in developing an industry first custom Online Ordering Platform, that provides a raft of efficiencies and a streamlined apparel ordering experience for all involved.
BLK’s involvement in professional sport provides direct benefit to the athletes representing SSV in that they have access to the very same fabrics and technology that are worn by Professional Athletes. BLK’s partnerships across the sporting codes also provide wonderful professional development opportunities for SSV Staff and Coordinators who are able to get an insight into best practices across the industry.
Specific benefits of BLK’s involvement with SSV include:
- Industry leading online ordering platform
- High quality garments that receive great feedback
- Continuous improvement philosophy
For many of the reasons above, Vicsport is proud to recommend BLK to any of our affiliated members and would highly encourage you to connect with the friendly team to discuss potential Sponsorship or Apparel Programs when you next need to professionalise the look of your team or organisation.
