Outcomes of Nudge Resource Feedback
The SSA programs came together on 13 September to review the current resources and provided feedback on the development of future resource development. This session proved successful highlighting the importance of the Strategies for Healthy Choices for key messages and improving nutrition knowledge. There was agreement from SSAs that this document was very detailed and a simple version was required to assist in explaining the nudge process that could be left with facility managers and/or canteen staff.
New Nudge Resource
As part of the process of review the sports spent significant time providing their ideas and direction for the development of a new nudge resource. It was decided that a one-page resource to explain the data collection process was needed and another one-page resource to explain the nudge.
Over the coming month Vicsport and VicHealth will use your feedback to continue to develop a few one-page resources to explain the more common nudges, including display, price differential and meal deals.
We are excited to share the draft version of the first nudge resource, Display Nudge – Water Promotion.
