Who are you? Where are you going? How are you going to get there?
This next Vicsport Professionals Network (VPN) session is for those who love their current job and/or employer and want to identify how to make the most of their current role or want to know how to take that next step.
It is also for those who are feeling a little lost or frustrated as to what direction their career should take. It is about providing guidance and tools for administrators to assist in identifying a pathway forward to build a bridge from one position/job/career to the next.
The key note speaker for this event is highly respected Sports Administrator and star of FOX8’s ‘The Recruit’, Leigh Russell. Leigh is an organisation development specialist, board director, performance coach and public speaker/facilitator with qualifications in the arts, teaching, counselling, career counselling and business.
She is an accomplished leader with a significant understanding of sport at all levels, having worked with AFL teams, the Melbourne Vixens, and a number of other national and state sporting organisations.
Leigh will be able to assist you to create clearer objectives, to allow you to develop a plan that will guide you towards your goals, both short term and long term.
We all need to take a step away from the day-to-day grind of work and spend quality time reflecting on our careers as well as developing a path for the future. Sports Administrators in particular often don’t have the time to do this, and as such, this event is highly essential for every sport administrator, student, and board director.
