The event also included presentations from CEO Scott Munn and Head of Community, Sue Crow, providing attendees with a unique insight into the club.  Build Your Personal Brand – Members received valuable personal development advice from a panel of three respected speakers. The session provided advice on self-marketing in addition to LinkedIn and other social media tips. 209 VPN MEMBERS 105 INDUSTRY PROFESSIONALS 51 SENIOR INDUSTRY PROFESSIONALS 36 STUDENTS 17 BOARD DIRECTORS PEOPLE DEVELOPMENT The Vicsport Professionals Network (VPN), launched in November 2014, has continued to grow in numbers and provide valuable professional development and networking opportunities for Victorian Sport Administrators. Categories cover students, industry professionals, senior industry professionals and board directors within the Victorian sport industry.  Active Networking – This unique concept, supported by VicHealth, provided members with the chance to experience State Sporting Association’s modified programs first hand. The first event showcased Football Federation Victoria’s ‘Summer Sevens’ and ‘Fit Football’ programs. The second enabled Tennis Victoria to provide a background on how they developed ‘Get into Cardio Tennis’ and also included a behind the scenes tour of the Australian Open. A healthy breakfast followed both events, allowing members to network and share ideas.  ‘What Legacy Will You Leave?’ – This Senior Industry Professional exclusive event saw St Kilda Football Club CEO, Matt Finnis tell the story of his diverse career and the challenges he has overcome including rebuilding the reputation of St Kilda club and re-engaging stakeholders.  Making Healthy Easy Cooking Class – The philosophy of practicing what you preach was reinforced at this fun and interactive event. Members had the chance to learn about the Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden Foundation program in addition to networking whilst creating and eating a delicious and healthy meal on the night. This event was supported by VicHealth.  ‘Are you asking the right questions?’ – This Board Director exclusive event saw Vicsport Chairman, former lawyer and Olympian, Margot Foster AM, and Richmond Football Club President and lawyer, Peggy O’Neal, discuss the role and importance of ethics within sport.  La Trobe Scholarships – Vicsport partnered with La Trobe University to provide financial support to VPN members wishing to undertake a Masters course.
